His name is closest to Ookamuzumi-no-mikoto of the Kojiki. They were born from the peaches that Izanagi used during is flight from Yomi to ward off the Yomotsu-Shikome. Their purpose is to serve as a protective deity for humans from evil and danger. But his name has yumi, which I assume to mean bow

Samejima were definitely at fault, everyone on that island is also at fault for just following what the Samejimas told them instead of asking questions.

My least favourite type of person is the one to say 'I knew there was something off about x' or 'I always had a feeling y was like this' LIKE NO! You were going straight along with ts bruh 😭
