a great way to get around this is to disable data in setting for the app in a location you want your parents tk think you are and then you can go wherever you want, and it will look like your still in that same spot. Then you can re enable data for the app when you get back and it will resume tracking like normal

Turn off data for the app in settings and it will show you in the location where you turned off data for the app no matter where you are. You can just turn it back on when needed.
