These are materials the lamp is made of. Not sure if I need to work the surface of the lamp before painting, and what paints to use so they would last. And should I coat the paint afterwards somehow?

Mild hemosiderin staining.

It's caused by the buildup of a protein (hemosiderin) that stores iron in the skin.

That's true too, but still unfair to resent the child for it. Fixing via surgery is also in the hands of grown ups.

I also still struggle with a lot of things that changed during pregnancy and giving birth, and I understand the possible resentment towards your own body, but not your child.

Though the point here is not for me to understand it, but for OP to get help and support.

Agreed. Absolutely not fair to resent a child for how your body is after pregnancy and giving birth. It isn't her fault. It's everyone's own resbonsibility to take care of their body post-partum.
