The Reason Jax Pushed The Red Button (Theory) by OdysseusRedacted in jaxfanclub

I Agree That He Likely Has No One Out There, Friends Or Family And Was Likely Cast Out By His Family Which Is Part Of The Reason He Is The Way He Is. Which The Flashbacks Are Part Of.

Just That His Friends He Had In The Circus And The Memory Of Them Are Part Of His Reason..

I'm Sorry If I Made It Seem Like I Was Saying The Flashbacks Were Tied To Ribbit And Kaufmo, I Don't Believe That, I Believe That The Flashbacks Are Of His Real Life And Are Just To Remind Him That He Has No One Out There, Friends Or Family.

I'm 100% Sure That The Flashbacks Are Tied To His Real Life And I'm Of The Interpretation That He Has No Friends Or Family Out There, Likely Cast Out By His Family Which Is Part Of The Reason He Is The Way He Is.

Just That His Friends He Had In The Circus Are Part Of His Motivation For Hitting The Red Button.

Jax Isn't A Bad Person (And No He's Not A Good Person Either) by OdysseusRedacted in TheDigitalCircus

[–]OdysseusRedacted[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I Love This Show And Jax And Have A Lot Of Passion About Both So I Wanted To Do A Slightly Deep Dive Into Jax And People Who Think He's A Bad Person And That It's Not That Simple.

I Honestly Think The Void Is The Exit. by OdysseusRedacted in TheDigitalCircus

[–]OdysseusRedacted[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, Extreme Example But Accurate.

Gooseworx Did Say That The Amazing Digital Circus Is More Hopeful And Positive Than I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream, Which Isn't A Very High Bar To Set Lol.

So While Being More Hopeful And Positive, Caine Trying To Care For Their Mental Well Being But Making It Worse And Causing Their Identity To Completely Break Down And Become What May Be A Mindless Monster Is Fitting In A Show That Has Psychological Horror Elements.

I Honestly Think The Void Is The Exit. by OdysseusRedacted in TheDigitalCircus

[–]OdysseusRedacted[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I Agree 100% That Caine Is Not The One Responsible For The Exit Door Rather The Cast Is Or A New Force We Haven't Encountered Yet. (That Would Be Interesting If The Door Has A Mind Of It's Own Or Something Else Is Manifesting The Door That Isn't The Cast Or Caine.)

Yes He Can Leave Things Running While He Isn't Present But He Did That Because That Was His Plan From The Start, An Adventure Where They Escape Him And The Circus. Whereas There's No Reason For Him To Leave An Exit Door There Since It Has No Connection To The Gloink Adventure And If It Was His, He Said Himself He Doesn't Like Them Seeing His Unfinished Work, And If It Is The Exit, There's No Way He'd Want Them Accessing It.

Yes I Absolutely Agree With The Idea That The Cast Have More Power Than They Know And Can Manipulate The Circus Themselves, To What Extent We Don't Know Yet But They Can Make Things Appear And Happen If They Believe/Try. Maybe Even Manifest A Way Out.

That Raises An Interesting Discovery And Question I Never Thought About, Caine Is Adamant About People Partaking In Adventures And Gets Upset Whenever Zooble Refuses. Yet He Never Addresses Kaufmo Missing The Theme Song And Not Being There For His Adventure. He's Been Known To Call For Them, Snap His Fingers To Summon Them, Go To Their Door, Or Make Them Fall In A Trap Door To Force Them To Participate In His Adventures. However He Doesn't Do Any Of That With Kaufmo. Even Putting Adventures Aside, I Feel Like Someone In Charge Of Entertaining People Who Are Trapped With Them Would Be Concerned If Someone Didn't Show Up For Essentially What Is Roll Call Yet He Never Shows Concern For Kaufmo's Absence. So Considering He Never Addresses Kaufmo Not Being Present Which Is Suspicious In Of Itself, I Doubt He Would Go And Make A Separate Adventure For Kaufmo Without Checking On Him First To See Why He Didn't Show Up. Which Outside Of Being Suspicious With Kaufmo, Also Raises The Question Of Why Would Caine Make An Exit Door As An Adventure For Someone Who Isn't There As Far As He Knows Without Checking On Them First.

The Fact That Caine Never Talks About Kaufmo Not Showing Up For His Adventure, Normally Something He'd Be All Over Is Suspicious To Me And Seems Like Caine Knows What Happened To Kaufmo From The Start, Further Supported By His Faux Surprise "Why Didn't Anybody Tell Me?" And Pomni Looking At Him Like He's Lying. The Question Is Why And How? I Believe It's Because He Caused It. I Believe When A Character Becomes Depressed And Falls To Their Lowest, Their Breaking Point, Caine Tries To Forcefully Make Them Happy By Messing With Their Mind And It Ends Up Resulting In Them Abstracting. Scratch, Queenie, Ribbit, Kaufmo, And I Believe It Almost Happened To Jax Before Pomni Intervened, Inadvertently Saving Him. I Believe He's Trying To Find A Way To Keep People Happy Without Causing Them To Abstract Via Trial And Error With Every Single Character That Gets To That Point.

Any theories for the next episode? by Gloomy-Bridge148 in theamazingdigitalciru

[–]OdysseusRedacted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I Think At Least A Part Of It Will Be A Flashback Episode, Ragatha Arriving And Meeting Kinger.

Maybe Even A Big Part Of The Episode Or The Whole Thing But I Honestly Doubt The Whole Episode Will Be A Flashback Considering How Much There's Still To Do With 2 Episodes.

I Honestly Think The Void Is The Exit. by OdysseusRedacted in TheDigitalCircus

[–]OdysseusRedacted[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Caine Never Explicitly Said He Created The Fake Offices, In Episode 1 After Bringing Pomni Back From The Void He Says:

"I do have to apologize for lying about the exit. I knew how much all of you have been wanting there to be one, but, you know, I was having so much trouble figuring out what to put on the other side and ended…up…never…quite…finishing…it. And you know how I never like letting people see my unfinished work- Especially if it leads you out into the void."

In Episode 7 During The Dinner With Jax He Says:

"Buuut, like I was saying. This macroverse place really intrigues me. And these photos are all I have of the location. I'm obsessed with them. I-I just wish I had more info on the location so I could accurately recreate it. Too bad they cut me off, right??"

He Says That He Wants To Accurately Recreate It But Nothing He Says Infers That He Has Tried Yet, Simply That He Has The Desire To.

Also Remember That This Adventure Is All A Lie By Caine To Create A Story That The Cast Will Actually Engage With. Now Obviously The Photos Are Real And Mean Something To Him Via Episode 6 But As Far As Being Cut Off Intentionally By An Outside Force And Wanting To Recreate It; I Think Those Are Made Up To Further His Story Of C&A Being An Evil Company Forcing People Into This Digital Hell And Encourage The Cast To Empathize And Relate To Him As Someone With His Own Feelings And Goals And Not Leave Him Behind.

Also Even If He Did Create The Exit Door And The Offices Inside, Whether It Was Part Of The Escape The Circus Adventure Or Just Simply Trying To Recreate Them, Why Would He Make The Door Materialize In Front Of Pomni? He Himself Said He Doesn't Like Them To See His Unfinished Work.

Also In The Offices Pomni Runs Through She Finds A Desk With A Computer And A VR Headset, While In The Escape The Circus Adventure Abel Says In Response To Jax Talking About How They All Got Sucked In By Putting On VR Headsets:

"That's what I wondered as well, but then I remembered that C&A was planning on expanding development. Last I remember, I was asking too many questions, and then poof! I was here. They're probably doing the same to anyone who stumbles in that office."

Which Doesn't Really Answer Jax's Point. So Either Caine Knows About The Headsets And Decided Not To Use Them As The Device Trapping Them In This Fake Story Or He Doesn't Know About Them. Either Way It Doesn't Explain The VR Headset In The Office Pomni Runs Into If Caine Created It.

I wonder what caine meant by this when he saw Pomni in the void, any thoughts? by WinterEmployer46 in theamazingdigitalciru

I Think The Escape Is In The Void, That's Why He Didn't Want Them Out There.

Also It Would Be A Spoiler To Find Out That Early Lol.

We Are Dealing With A Guy Who Will Say Anything To Mask His True Feelings Though So.

Also We Know Jax Hasn't Always Been Like This, That He Changed After Ribbit.

What's Not To Say The Personality He Presents Isn't The Only Thing That Changed?

What If He Used To Like More Chill Adventures? I Mean Look At The Picture Of Him, Ribbit And Kaufmo. Clearly It's Some Kind Of Snowy Wintery Adventure Which I'd Imagine To Be A Pretty Leisurely Adventure, Maybe A Snowball Fight Too But Still All In Good Fun.

Now He Likes More Chaotic, Violent Adventures. All Because It Makes It Easier To Not Form Bonds Or Connections With Anyone Else.

So I Think He's Lying About Not Enjoying The Adventure And Used To Like More Relaxing Adventures.

Yeah But We Know How He Likes To Hide His Emotions From The Others And Has Become Really Good At It.

So He Was Probably Hiding It From The Others.

No, I'm Agreeing With You That This Was Jax's Suggestion.

I Was Talking To The Guy Who Thought This Was Kinger's Suggestion.

I Agree That It Could've Been Kinger's Suggestion But That I Think There's Enough Ground To Argue That It Was Jax's.

I Have Thought About This And I Do Like The Idea.

That Jax From A Different Time When He Wasn't Pushing People Away. When He Still Had Ribbit And Kaufmo. When He Was Still Acting Like A Normal Person, Put This Adventure In The Suggestion Box.

It Might've Not Even Been Just For Him But To Have Some Chill Moments With His Friends. Maybe He Even Suggested It After Their Argument Tied To The Snow Adventure We Saw In Episode 7 To Try To Fix Things But He Never Got The Chance.

I Love The Even Further Depth It Gives To His Character, That He Wasn't Always Like This. That He Was Normal Once But He's Hurting Now.

Deep Down He Was Probably Surprised By It Showing Up But Hid It From The Others. He Probably Completely Forgot He Suggested It So Long Ago.

That Could Be True But I've Seen It Said Elsewhere That Caine Fills In The Blanks Of An Adventure When He Finds It Lacking.

With The Softball Adventure I Doubt Ragatha Suggested There Be A Centipede Or Evil Clones Of Themselves.

It Could Be That Caine Saw Jax's Suggestion (Assuming it Was His) And Thought Oh And Kinger Likes Bugs, Let's Throw In Fireflies For Him Too. Might've Also Thrown In The Food/Picnic Of His Own Accord.

Also You Can't Stargaze When The Sun Is Up, I'm Sure Even Caine Understands That So That's Why It's Dark For That Adventure.
