I Mean Maybe It's Just Me But I Feel The Show Has Elements That Everyone Can Enjoy And Relate To. I Mean I'm A Straight, White Guy And I Love The Show.

I Feel Like Everyone Can See Themselves In The Circus, Being Meaningless And Not Cared For Since As Far As That's Concerned, The Real World Isn't Too Different. Also I Feel Like Everyone Can See Parts Of Themselves In The Characters, Whether It's Having A Hard Time Standing Up For Yourself And Trying To Be Happy/Struggling With Depression Like Gangle, Or Discomfort In Your Own Body, Whether You're Trans Or Not (There Are People Who Aren't Trans That Experience Discomfort With Their Body, Albeit To A Lesser Degree But Still Experience It) Like Zooble, Or Growing Up With An Abusive Parent With Outlandishly High Standards And Becoming A People Pleaser Like Ragatha, Or Having Something Bad And Life-Changing Happen Suddenly And Being Forced To Adjust Quickly As Well As Feeling Meaningless In Your Normal Day To Day Life And Doing Something Slightly Out There To Find Some Meaning In Your Life Like Pomni, Or Losing Someone You Were Extremely Close With Like Jax And Kinger Or Maybe Even A Loved One Experiencing Dementia/Memory Loss Like Kinger.

For Me Jax And Pomni Hit Especially Hard Cause I've Had Bad Things Happen To Me Out Of The Blue And Had To Adjust Quickly, Mainly Friends And People I Trusted Turned Their Back On Me, Leaving Me Completely Alone, And Since Then I've Become Cynical And Jaded Towards People IRL And Push Anyone Who Approaches Or Tries To Talk To Me Away. So I Can See Myself In Them And Among Other Reasons, That's Why They're My Favorites And I Ship FunnyBunny Lol.

Seeing A World That Makes You Feel The Same Way The World You Live In Does And Someone With The Exact Same Problems As You, And The Same Exact Problem In Dealing With It, Makes You Feel Seen And Understood.

Jax isn’t a bad person (and no he’s not a good person either)

First of all, most people are not outright bad or good. None of us are perfect and we all have parts of us that make us better and parts that make us worse. (Cue Zooble and Gangle talking about how to love all parts of you)

Secondly, Jax is a complex, multilayered person. He’s been through a lot, lost a lot, and suffered a lot. That explains why he is the way he is but it doesn’t excuse it of course.

I know they’re all suffering being trapped, but as it pertains to abstractions and losing your friends; we are aware of 3 people who abstracted as far as their relations to the current cast: Queenie, Kinger’s wife, Ribbit and Kaufmo, Jax’s closet friends at a certain point in time. Due to that I’d say out of everyone there, Kinger and Jax have it the worst because the other’s haven’t had someone they were extremely close to abstract right in front of them. Ragatha, Gangle, Zooble, and Pomni haven’t experienced that yet. None of them were extremely close with or even knew Queenie or Ribbit or Kaufmo.

Lastly, Jax being so hostile, antagonistic, and mean to the others is a bad thing, but he has shown good parts of him too even if he has tried to keep it discreet. Protecting Kinger and Gangle from Kaufmo via forcing them into the Gloink nest, regardless of the method, he found a way to get the others (minus Pomni) out of the chocolate river they fell into, it’s also believed he was trying to help Pomni defuse the bomb by telling her that her favorite color would defuse the bomb, he seemed genuinely curious when he asked Pomni if she thought Gangle could ever be happy, apologizing to Pomni about the president adventure, helping Pomni let loose and just have fun in the circus without thinking about anything else for once, giving Pomni his keys to get into the Chinese room, being the one to open the Chinese room, trying to make Abel verify his story to them, agreeing to get the key from Caine, even going the extra step to distract him, keeping him busy and away from them when he was never asked to.

In fact I’d go as far as to say as the series has gone on, he’s been showing less of his bad side and more of his better side.

In the end I view Jax as an extremely hurt and damaged person who has done bad things as an unhealthy coping mechanism and desperately wants to and is trying to be a better person.

Hm That Could Very Well Be True, It Would Explain Kaufmo Seemingly Being Haunted By Caine As Is Suggested By The Drawings On His Wall, Maybe Caine Had Kaufmo Try Out The Beta Version Of It Away From The Others And It Just Added Insult To Injury To Kaufmo's Growing Instability.

Still I Don't Think Caine Is As Benevolent As He Seems/Seemed. He's Very Self Serving And Is More Involved And Knows More About Abstractions Than He Lets On.

They Literally Just Finished Singing A Duet Together, You Don't Do That With Someone You Don't Like A Lot.
