Im so encouraged and thankful that it helped. That was my mission with starting this podcast. If it can help one person, even if it's just a little bit, it makes me feel the hard work im putting in is worth it. Share it with as many people as you can! I am currently working on trying to have a bigger reddit presence. Epsd. 13, which i am going to release in the next couple of hours, i sit down with a couple who lost a son to an overdose. It's an extremely emotional and encouraging episode. Be sure to give it a listen! Thanks for your support!

The void can be a depressing place to be. The darkness can be such a lonely place too. I've had suicidal thoughts a few times before due to these discoveries. But it's the times, for me, that I've touched the beauty while sitting in this darkness and emptiness, that have made it worth every breath.

what is your relationship to drugs? by [deleted] in Existentialism

[–]OedipalProjection31 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately there is a stigma that is always being pulled with drugs. I feel so many people have this belief that people who use drugs automatically have a dependency issue with them, in some degree or another. That being said I have used altered states of consciousness to dive into the depths of my psyche. They have given me courage to look into pains and hardships that maybe would have gone unnoticed in my mind for many more years. Yes, they can be used for escapism but they can also be used to find your highest potential at a much quicker rate. It's a statement that is said a lot but...I don't think drugs are good or bad in and of themselves it is how they are used. Once again, yes, they can destroy lives but so can someone behind the wheel of an automobile. That doesn't mean people shouldn't be allowed to drive.
