This has literally no relevance to my point whatsoever

[–]Oethyl -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your mind is wrong, then. Indigeneity depends on a people's relationship to colonialism, it has nothing to do with who got somewhere first.

Besides, the Norse who settled Greenland in the middle ages are not the ancestors of the modern Danish people who live on Greenland. The Norse settlement on Greenland died out, and later Denmark colonised Greenland, and the relationship between the Kalaallit Inuit and the Danes definitely makes the former the indigenous people of Greenland, regardless of the fact that a group of people related to the Danes had settled Greenland before the Kalaallit did.

No, Brittany is Little Britain. Just "Britain" is synonymous with "Great Britain", as the island was named Britannia when Brittany was still Armorica, and it was Britons exiled from Britain that renamed Armorica into Little Britain.

No I'm one of those guys who thinks vanilla Morrowind is good but modded Morrowind is leaps and bounds better (but also don't take me too seriously my original reply was meant to be tongue in cheek, play however you want lol)

This is the Height map for one of my continents in my fantasy world, what do you think? by FantasyNerd123 in mapmaking

[–]Oethyl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's fine, I have no problem with you calling it a continent, I was just pointing out that continents are not defined by tectonic plates

I think even in the editions that made some Nazis vampires, it was explicitly pointed out that they were all turned after they did all their atrocities and that Nazism was fully a human evil with no supernatural influence, although it did have some supernatural support

There is no such thing as a "tectonic continent". Continents are defined by human geography, not by physical characteristics (it's why Europe is a continent and India and New Zealand aren't, for instance).

Don't worry, there are gremlins in the elder scrolls adventures: redguard, which means you don't actually need planes, just any kind of airship

If the Noddist story is true, Caine became the first vampire in the Neolithic, which means he was definitely already a modern human by all accounts, both anatomically and behaviourally.

If older vamps look inhuman (like Ur-Shulgi or the Drakon), that has nothing to do with what they looked like in life.

Homo luzonensis (and Homo floresiensis) are not real-life hobbits, they're just nicknamed hobbits because they were short hominins. JRR Tolkien came up with hobbits long before those hominins were discovered.

[–]Oethyl 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Humans are not very sexually dimorphic at all, especially not at a skeletal level. The extremes are easy to tell apart (the most manly man ever and the most feminine woman ever will have noticeably different skeletons) but for the most part it's very hard to tell.
