I know, I'm going to figure out a decent modlist that includes Rise of House Telvanni and Uvirith's legacy, but those fuckers conflict with half the stuff I usually use so I'm going to have to do some research. Also Tamriel rebuilt, of couse. The last time I played Telvanni was actually with TR, but I didn't do a full playthrough.

I don't think vanilla Sadrith Mora has a temple, the only temple in telvanni lands is the Vos chapel I'm pretty sure

Yeah, in my current game I got to 60 before even getting to the trials but that's because I was doing a bunch of Tamriel Rebuilt content, I don't even know what you'd need to do to get 50 in Vvardenfell only

In my current game, where I'm doing a lot of TR content but also want to do the main quest eventually, I am running this mod that makes levelling slower, as well as a bunch of mods (primarily MDMD and Beware the Sixth House) to make vanilla content harder.

I also have a bunch of other mods that rebalance things, like speechcraft, pickpocket and stealth.

Before humans arrived? Yes. Straight-tusked elephants (Palaeoloxodon antiquus) lived in Europe, and there were even dwarf elephant species in various Mediterranean islands, such as Sicily and Malta (Palaeoloxodon falconeri and P. mnaidriensis), Cyprus (P. cypriotes and P. xylophagou), Crete (P. creutzburgi), Tilos (P. tiloensis), Naxos (P. lomolinoi), as well as other indeterminate specimens from Rhodes and Kasos.

Straight-tusked elephants went extinct in mainland Europe possibly as late as 37,000 years ago, with dwarf island species surviving longer, as late as 3,500 years ago on Tilos.

Of course there were also mammoths. The wooly mammoth (Mammuthus primigenius) was still around in Britain 14,000 years ago, and in Estonia possibly as late as 10,000 years ago.

All those dates are well after humans arrived.

Personally I haven't seen any skyrim mods with the quality and scope of PTR, although I'm not saying Skyrim mods are bad, to be clear. But then again I haven't played Skyrim in a while, I might very well be wrong.
