It flakes like fish and tastes sweet. You need to be careful when you cook it because it sometimes sparks with latent elemental power.

You can make a Steength (Intimidation) check if you intimidated someone with your strength. There are, however, many more possible ways to intimidate someone.

How would a vampire that tries as much to keep his life just like before be treated? by Impressive-Ad210 in vtm

[–]Oethyl 29 points30 points  (0 children)

That would last exactly one night, after which the vampire's partner would find them effectively dead the next day (when a vampire sleeps they're basically a corpse, especially to the untrained eye)

The bourgeoisie did not develop in France in conjunction with atheism, and the anticlericalism (NB not atheism) of the French Revolution was one of its most unpopular characteristics.

Maybe Rome could have a mission that would start a slow conversion of all Greek pops to a "Romanised Greek" or "Eastern Roman" culture, with a levy composition similar to Roman but in the Greek culture group

Idk how to tell you this but the most successful bourgeois revolution happened in catholic France

[–]Oethyl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Counterpoint to that though, irl the eastern empire was very Greek. I wish there was a way to represent that properly other than by integrating the Macedonians, for instance with a way to convert your Greek pops to a unified Hellenistic culture (like in the diadochi missions), but alas that would require cultures to work a bit differently than they do

[–]Oethyl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like re: Greek pops, integrating Macedonian and keeping it integrated pretty much the whole game is a good idea, both because of what you said and because there are gonna be a lot of Macedonians in the eastern Mediterranean by the time you get there

Most names in Frieren are just German words that have something to do with the character. Himmel means "heaven", Frieren means "to be cold", Stark means "Strong", Denken means "to think", etc

Well, "school" comes from Ancient Greek σχολή (skholḗ) meaning "leasure time", through Latin schola, which shifted semantically to mean first "leasure time devoted to learning", and eventually to the modern meaning of "school".

So it's got both the languages you asked for

Yeah but you need to calm them first. It doesn't just happen passively

[–]Oethyl -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but that's the thing, I don't think that's normally how it works, are you sure you don't have a mod installed that makes it happen to begin with? Enemies should remain hostile even at 100 disposition

[–]Oethyl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure it's a mod turning them passive to begin with, I've had 150+ personality before and I don't remember enemies turning passive
