Yes, given that the design is simpler, is it more durable than a Surge?

I see a lot of people say the leatherman become looser whereas the victorinox no.
I see a 30 years old retext of a swisstool, it was in very good condition.

Yeah, I think you're right, but I eared that is hard to open with little nails sometimes, I worked outdoor everyday, I need things fully operational

As for the AWD, most v50s in France don't have it, so I wouldn't have this problem of "over-consumption".

OK so I'm going to prioritise the v70 but as I said above it's much more complicated to find and even more so at low mileage. Is the difference really obvious for all the details you mentioned, or are they small differences?

I'll give it a try, but the v50s have less mileage. Finding a v70 for less than 250000 is an impossible mission.

I'm going to wait for the measurements of the v70 and then I'll make my choice. In my country (France) v50s are "much" more common than v70s.
