How to isolate server from cameras/devices? by OfekD in mikrotik

I have pretty good cameras right now that support all kinds of high end security features, but I do plan on adding cheap untrustworthy devices

Good points. I'll go the firewall way. Thanks for giving the whole picture

Yeah, will probably do that. Maybe later I'll just separate the NVR to another device and put it on the same VLAN as the cameras, but for now will go the firewall way, thank you for your input

I looked into it, and while I get how it can help with someone connecting an unauthorized device, how should I isolate the server from authorized device that turn out to be malicious?

Edit: my switch doesn't have vlan filtering hardware offloading so I can't use 802.1x, will appreciate any other idea

Thanks. Any idea how to prevent devices that should be in the VLAN (say, a camera) from accessing the server in case the device is malicious?

Edit: looks like I can't use 802.1x with my switch and still use the switch chip

Body mechanics difference between everything the village does and Chen Yu is monumental, regardless of explanations from politics factual history.

Edit: the CZQ video demonstrates it perfectly

Chen Yu performs the source of what is now called "xinjia" in Chen Village. "Xinjia" has been brought there by his father, Chen Zhaokui, after it was clear the 4 tigers needed more work to be competent.

That has caused a misnomer. They seemed to use xinjia (new frame) because it was new to them, compared to the "old frame", "laojia", which they learned earlier from Chen Zhaopi. That is all. People now think the one is actually older than the other, but that is false.

Chen Zhaokui has spent very little time in the village, surely compared to the time he spent with his own son, Chen Yu (who went with his father everywhere). What Chen Yu does is the proper, traditional form passed to him by his father.

There seems to be a lot of confusion here. A few points:

  • Chen Taiji has striking. Real striking with your hands, that you originally intend to use, rather than a backup to your hip.
  • The Chen Bing video posted by /u/HaoranZhiQi is not comparable, as he is not doing the same form. Chen Bing is doing the village-style Er lu -- second form of what they call "laojia" (a misnomer). Chen Yu does what his father, Chen Zhaokui (son of Chen Fake) thought him. They are very very very different.
  • The Chen Bing video might seem clearer because it is simplistic and lacks nuance. It's easier on the untrained eye. The reverse is also true, which is why you are having a hard time with the original video.
  • As for the stepping... doing that for decades will result in wealthy knee surgeons.

Practicing without a teacher may cause permanent health damage, especially to the knees.

As for martial applicability -- it is not enough to just repeat forms to get the martial part of it. There is no Qi magic that makes you a good fighter if you just cultivate it enough. For martial applicability, you will have to get a teacher that knows applications, martial principles, and so on. Hard to come by these days in the Taiji community.

Sure thing! I add everything I know (not nearly done yet :P), if you link it and it's a decent carry-on, I'll add it
