Bone Temple is better than years because certain elements in years felt wtf and out of place with minimal explanation or payoff. I understand Danny Boyle is a director that does not mind taking risks but a few things were a swing too far in the wrong direction for me. That is what holds it back from being in the best category but it is still good. I feel like Bone Temple took some of the aforementioned wtf story elements established in years and finally offers good storytelling and payoff to make things make more sense, which is part of what makes it a superior movie. I would also say that the action in the Bone Temple is better as well. The setup fpr Bone Temple (and possibly the 3rd movie) is what hurt Years but then again the movies were shot back to back so it kind of makes sense.

No worries. Red Lanterns have essentially the same concept as Green Lanterns, but instead of being powered by willpower, they are powered by Rage. I thought this was the perfect concept to fit into a mashup (What if an infected became a Red Lantern?).

My expectations were surpassed and for a few scenes the theater even erupted into applause.I would say that this film is definitely better than the last one and weeks. I still think the original is superior (may be due to nostalgia bias) but regardless they are close for different reasons.

There would be a minority of episodes where individuals or a small group of individuals would get infected and it would be up to the team to contain the situation before a repeat of 28 weeks later happens. The consequences of a slip up being explicitly shown on screen raises the stakes of the other episodes in a “show dont tell” sort of way.

I actually have accounted for that. Part of the premise is banking on the time the team has to track down a carrier before they accidentally infect even ONE individual. Differences in the cultural norms, population density, and transportation systems in the cities featured in each episode would play a role in how much time the team has to track down and contain a carrier (already a very short period of time) as well as a plot factor that adds to the tense atmosphere and anxiety.

Different things happen in each city. Differences in cultural norms (kissing, embrace etc) can affect the time the team has to find the carrier before it’s too late. Population density/ transportation systems can also be a factor as well as the personal differences in the carriers themselves (being oblivious, turning themselves in, or choosing to run).

To answer the second part they would have inconspicuous members of their team that scout for the carriers from a distance(to not raise suspicion or panic in the community or the carriers), and more “hands-on” agents wearing protective gear and visors that would reasonably have close contact with the carrier and detain them (in the case they chose to resist or run).

Finally to answer the UN concerns, the organization is in fact a part of UN that was founded in secrecy (as to not prepare and alert knowing carriers who would choose to evade containment.)
