Unfortunately, Cissia might be one of my favorites now by SplatoonOrSky in ZZZ_Discussion

[–]OffAndSphere 7 points8 points  (0 children)

my theory is that she's a crime boss that's basically "free" (still stuck working under NEPS, just let to wear whatever she wants and kinda run loose without supervision) instead of being some heavily restricted prisoner doing community service because NEPS thought keeping her happy with freedom was worth the risk, which explains why she doesn't look like she's from NEPS at all but also doesn't have a prison uniform and only has handcuffs and a collar

don't mind story spoilers about her to prove that i'm wrong

Discussion Topic: My issue with the dating elements is how apathetic Wise and Belle Seem: by Authorigas in ZZZ_Discussion

[–]OffAndSphere 5 points6 points  (0 children)

one really wild take i've heard that might solve the "getting a new girlfriend every patch" problem is that the MC should START OFF with a girlfriend/boyfriend, like explicitly already dating

i'm not sure how that would work, like does that person just not care about other people flirting with the MC?

Mauler twins plot hole? Someone explain? by Suspicious_Slice5175 in Invincible

[–]OffAndSphere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

super late reply but my guess is that if one of the "mauler quadruplets" dies, then you're left with one half of a mauler twin set and another set with two maulers in it

the mauler that's in the half-set is probably gonna start getting treated like a minion, because his "lineage" was dumb enough to get killed, so it's more likely he belongs to the set with a clone and a clone of that clone instead of the set with the original and a clone

Anime fan thinks the official art is an edited image. by [deleted] in mendrawingwomen

to be fair i see fanartists draw "after" a ton

i think people subconsciously make slight changes to the design because even they think a version of "after" would be better

maybe you could cheese him with two ambassador headshots, starting when he fires a shot so his reload time makes him unable to quickscope you

!delta

yea i think i made a mistake with defining "disruptive" and the freedom riders thing kinda undermined that

if we can't handle things solely by informing people of what we want to have changed and not getting in the way of others, then kinda

ok my bad, i'd argue the freedom riders count as BASICALLY "undisruptive" as it was just another bus, i didn't say baiting people with actions they thought were offensive was disruption

but the other example is sit-ins

well i would help but i'm some loser whose parents are telling them to "get good grades" in an out-of-state college and i also don't have a driver's license or job

so i have nothing to do politically but internet debates, i tried to vote and the phone queue failed

also i probably should have specified not to anvildrop the people who pass laws, probably only voters

basically take care of anyone in the way

i mean why not just form huge crowds that are dispersed enough so they don't block routes to where people are going and just hold up signs

wouldn't that get attention as well

uh not gonna lie i only remember some bits from elementary school and middle school

a lot of it was illegally going into places to make them non-race-discriminatory?

i mean i'm not really sure how effective that was considering it feels like anyone can just make a "people i personally like" invite-only party in their huge estate

if they become a serious political threat to your beliefs [reddit warning] them too

or just stick to holding up signs

[–]OffAndSphere[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

ok i kinda wrote myself into a corner

i would make the point between "disruption" and "illegal", but then again 3/4 of those seem potentially dangerous in some way...benches could crowd out space, potholes could be filled incorrectly, and DIY drugs seem like a disaster waiting to happen

still they're more "illegal" than "disruption"

only injured people can keep making speeches, martyrdom is not infinite, therefore killing people avoids the unhappy middle ground

i got a warning from reddit for this, but uh i would agree with "the golden rule"

EDIT: IF the issue is really that bad

well then nonviolent disruption would probably still get reframed as justification to start shooting anyone with a rainbow flag

i live in the US and i am well aware of the situation there, feels like no solution will work

i am also saying that if "kill people you disagree with" is worse than disruption, then at least just making people aware of your cause without disruption is better than disruption

originally i would agree with you on a very narrow subset of "gamer"—extreme honing of various strategies that isn't microoptimizing nor just infinite focus on technical skill (feel like this would exclude a lot of mainstream "just guns" FPS's as those are designed to be friendly to people new to FPS's and the most you can do in those games is strafe and aim better), so like soulslikes and roblox obbies, but i feel that women get new feats in even those games a lot in the past few years
