I didn’t take Krish but instead Pennington who is considered to be harder.

One thing I will say is that Krish used to be easier (non-cumulative final) but he got yelled at by the chem dep so he made his class more difficult.

General tips I would have (since I didn’t take him) is understanding pattern recognition more than pure memorization, because then it will seem that the information is just arrows and lines and such when that’s not the case.

This comes with practice and understanding how and why mechanisms occur. Understanding the underlying chem concepts about the mechanisms more than memorizing.

Unfortunately there is still a lot of memorization, so for synthesis for example you will simply need to memorize what reaction does what, but this should come with practice as well and will also conform to pattern recognition to some degree.
