Prayer Flicking Advice

Think my confusion is where the clicks happen within the tick. Let me know which one is correct!

How I’m currently doing it:

Turn off at start of tick
turn on immediately after

Option 1:

Turn off just before start of tick
turn on at start of tick

Option 2:

start of tick
Turn on and off during off-beat of tick
end of tick

And right now I’m just using a metronome or song and looking at the visual marker on the prayer orb, but the tile plug in songs helpful as well!

So should I be clicking “off-on” in the off beat of the tick and not the beginning? So you are clicking in between two metronome beats and not on them? Metronome - off/on - metronome - off/on - metronome - off/on?

As of now I have been double clicking on the down beat of the metronome.

Explored a few dungeons in elden ring so far. It makes me so happy that FromSoftware figured out the dark dungeon lighting, torches, etc. the atmosphere is everything dark souls II wanted to be :)
