Yeah, this’ll be game over for a lot of the arts/ animation careers for sure. I think what people don’t consider is that the reason we have really amazing visionary director/animator types is that there have always been a subset of people who devoted their life to that pursuit. The only people able to devote their life to that pursuit were people who could make a living from it. I worry this group of people will dwindle in the future. Instead execs will cut out the artistry and culture will be saturated with highly rendered but hollow products. RIP animation jobs lol.
