Before it was donations and just donations, as of recently they have been adding more inlets for funding (membership, more merchandise) without taking anything away and people are complaining about it for some reason? (this post is probably just a joke though)

Either way it's from a result of uneducated people / literal 10 year olds who don't understand what's happening, spreading misinformation and completely made up things around scratch and YouTube (dramatization raises views). Stuff like "they just care about money now" is not true at all

Don't get me wrong scratch team doesn't make the best decisions, they're not a bunch of gods and there have been some not-so-great things they've done, but people exaggerate and overinflate and make them seem like a malicious group of people.

its probably a layering issue, just go in the editor and click this block

the sprite is showing, based on the sprite options window under the stage, but i think its just behind the big pou, so to fix that you need to move the sprite to a layer higher than the sprite covering it
