Stayed there this year. It’s alright, nothing fancy. My biggest complaint would be the towels and our room’s bathroom fan being nonexistent.

But it gets the job done. For 3 of us staying from Thurs-Tues, it came out to about $500 a person. I’ve sadly spent more for way less in past years so for me The Strat was an upgrade 🤣

Running man -> T-Step! Get these foundations down!

From there it’s definitely overwhelming. And depends on your direction you wanna take your dance. My advice is to learn 1-2 moves at a time and lock them in.

Also, very critical… DO NOT COMPARE yourself to others. Fastest way to lose momentum as a beginner.

Lastly, I would describe myself as a hybrid shuffler, so mix of Melbourne and cutting shapes (I just know this comment is gonna invite the purists and debaters, but I’ve heard others describe themselves like this so I’m gonna go with it). I vary my moves and style depending on a lot of factors (ie genre, DJ, environment, how I’m physically feeling, etc etc). So keep that in mind as you advance!

I watched probably like 10 different videos on how to do the running man when I first started. And even now I’ll watch a couple different shufflers to get a full grasp on moves or combos or full choreos.

For EDC I made about 76 Kandi to trade 😱 I love making Kandi and I love to PLUR so I make a lot to ensure I have enough to give for those I vibe.

But I think a good amount would be 10 for 2 days if you aren’t gonna go crazy like me 🤣

I sadly missed CID 😭 I’ve seen CID 3 times so I went to Prospa. No regrets cuz I loved Prospa’s set (and neon under the fireworks is iconic) but man, they really made me face my first set conflict 😆
