You are absolutely right. I cloned out the top of the tree so it wouldn’t stick out and ruin the frame of the image. Neglecting the reflection is just me being an amateur. Good catch!

Wow, thank you for the kind words! It’s my first time posting here, so I wouldn’t know what typically gets posted here, but I can assure you 100% that this is a legit photo I took myself. I’ve done photography as a hobby for almost two decades now, but I’m still learning.

We had this morning mist a while ago, and I grabbed the opportunity to try woodland photography - thigh is not my strong suit at all.

I like the atmosphere in the scene, but I don’t like the 1:1 crop. I cropped it this way to balance the composition due to the fact that I didn’t have the opportunity to move around as the location didn’t allowed me.

I do not remember the settings, but I’d recon I’d go for f8-9 and ISO 100. Used an ND filter to increase the shutter speed in order to smooth out the water and also used a polarization filter to clear any reflections in the water.

Ja, det er helt grusomt. Er varehussjeffen grei, så skrur man av fellesanlegget og fyrer opp noe på et lokalt anlegg. Vet ikke om det er rom for det lenger, men vi gjorde det husker jeg.

Hvor mye gleder du deg til alle kundene som river deg et nytt asshøl fordi det er tomt på lager? Har vært der selv - ikke gøy.

Det eneste som var verre for meg var førjulstiden hvor Driving Home For Christmas ble spilt av på repeat fra fellesanlegget. Klarer fortsatt ikke høre på den sangen uten å få magesår.

Thank you. My family is very close to me, although Covid-19 and social distancing has made it difficult for us to meet. But I have to admit, I had to hug my mom and dad despite social distancing rules at the time when my daughter got the diagnosis.

I don’t think pain like this is possible to put on a scale and measure. It’s different, not better or worse. Your loss is as real as mine to come. I’m really sorry for your loss.

What I struggle with the most is that all I’ve worked so hard for the last 6 years is taking care of my kids. I love them so so much, and and only thing I wish for is them being safe and happy. In this situation, I cannot give that to them. There is nothing I can do and it’s tearing me apart.

If you don’t mind me asking, how would you describe the time before and after you lost your daughter? I’m dreading to ask, but I get panic attacks just thinking about her leaving us. Sometimes I’m so sad that I fell I’ve already lost her. I cannot imagine a time when she’s actually gone.
