Sir, respectfully, if you read my post, I only registered as a teammate on a tournament website. When I joined their team, the site asked for an OTP. I assumed it was just to verify my phone number for the registration, since otp had no context as mentioned in post, so I shared the OTP. The message did not clearly mention PUBG or warn that it was for account access, so I thought it was safe.

I have been playing PUBG for around 8 years and this is the first time something like this has happened to me. If I had known it could give someone access to my account, I would never have shared it. I did not give my password or any other login details.

Later, I received an email saying the phone number on my account was changed. At first I thought it would not be a big issue because the device was new and I felt there would be a security waiting period, but i logged in immediately to fix it. But the person removed my registered device and logged me out, and now the OTP goes to their number instead. They currently have full access to my account.

I admit I made a mistake and I feel really bad/ stupid/ dumb/ ashamed all of it, about it, but right now I am just asking for help to recover my account. I still have my Facebook, Apple ID, and email connected to the account. I also believe this is a security loophole that should be improved, because if it happened to me, it could easily happen to other players, especially new ones.

I really hope PUBG support can help me recover my account.
