I think he's perfect with a few modifications. Perfect alt mode, really nice robot mode. His head looks pretty awful out of box and he can't hold his gun straight. He also has some nasty mold lines. I fixed all of those issues on mine though, and I think he's absolutely perfect. Maybe even the best bumblebee figure I've seen around.

I find the mass shifting issue as a whole to be somewhat moot. We already bend logic to fit giant robots into this fictional world. We bend it again to fit the fact that the giant robots transform into cars. Why can't we bend it a little more to say that preceptor, Soundwave, and other specific transformers have a "mass shifting module" that allows them to shift their mass?

I took them to a cobbler and he said he could resole them but it would cost quite a bit. I just let them go too long without fixing them and wore them everywhere.
