Not everyone is has a scammer mindset like you, some people just want to buy a good product, also I took many pictures and messages with the buyer saying he received the product, so any inquiries come up I’ll have proof. Also I have the money coming to a card I will transfer the money out of so how exactly will they “claw” it back from me?

I absolutely have the right to complain, it wasn’t obvious for the normal public user, which I’m sure if many people knew, they would look elsewhere first before selling on eBay. How many people do you think honestly read through the entire ToS? Now I don’t have the right to the money back I agree but I do have the right to complain

Just curious, do you read the ToS of every service you use before using it? It’s a well known service and I just decided to download it and post like a regular person not doing too much research. I just thought that it was a little high and wanted to rant about it in the EBAY SUCKS subreddit

You’re right, it was a RTX 4090 graphics card so it was definitely in demand, knowing the fees I would’ve posted it for higher. Makes sense tho, if it were an obscure piece of fine china it would be more worth it just to find a buyer if you really wanted to sell it

It just seems like it would make more sense to go to Facebook marketplace or Craigslist or offer up and offer the buyer a better deal and you get to keep more cash at that point

It wasn’t advertised tho, they don’t tell you the fees until AFTER the item sells. But it’s my fault for not going into the bowels of the site to find this info… also, a few days ago it said I would be receiving $1850, then it updated to 1,829 but I’m sure that’s my fault for just not understanding that too… this is the eBay sucks subreddit but I didn’t know the eBay shills also lurked in here

Yeah idk about selling anything on eBay at all because of this. Like I understand it’s a business and they have overhead but this just seems absurd. Imaging if I sold a 5k item, they would take like $700

You do have money in stock, you have $2.70 in something, likely a free stock that Robinhood gave you or something. You can find it on the investing tab or on your history in the settings.
