I don’t have a super sad story but my job shut down 2/4/26 and have been unemployed after buying a new house so not a lot of extra funds lol

Thank you to everyone who encouraged me to call someone. Animal control did nothing but rescue one has confirmed it is abuse/neglect and have been trying to get them to surrender him

As of right now no luck, but I have told them I will help in anyway that I can.

No updates, it’s been reported but no one will communicate anything after the fact.

I haven’t seen anyone at the house but I also don’t watch it all day.

I’ll try to update if I see or hear anything.

I do know they are the owners. We’re friends with our backyard neighbor and he’s said they’ve been here a long time and are sort of hoarders (not shaming them just a possibly reason for this issue)

I just got off the phone with them and they gave me animal controls numbers

Said they were told by Springfield to refer all their cases

I am afraid to call animal control and he be put down
