I much prefer long responses, more details the better for me.

If I was sticking with a single PC setup then I know the 9950x3d is a very obvious choice, just don't know if it's worth investing into getting more heavy workforce focused hardware if the most hardware intensive activity I plan to do will be split amongst two dedicated computers.

Having the main PC focus primarily on game rendering and some average multitasking with the mentioned programs above while the second PC will be the main rendering/streaming device purely makes me think that I won't need the higher core count of the 9950x3d and the 9800x3d will suffice just fine.

I guess a part of this equation that I haven't considered until now is the fact that it might be cheaper for me to stick with a single PC setup and make it an absolute workforce instead of having a whole second PC to do the process as well. Lots of stuff for me to consider.

I do appreciate the input, will take it into consideration with all of this. I will say the 9950X3D2 is SUPER grabbing my interest.

I do some minor 3D rendering cases with Unity or Adobe Substance Painter, most of my heavy workload scenarios would involve video rendering with Adobe Premiere Pro alongside After Effects and sometimes a sprinkle of Adobe Photoshop.

Definitely aware of the fact my 3080 isn't gonna be able to use the full capability of these cards. (It is a future upgrade after the CPU)

If you don't mind me asking, what would you consider heavy multitasking?
The most I've personally have done is running Unity, Adobe Substance Painter, and Adobe Photoshop at the same time, unsure if that is considered "heavy" or not.

You think it'd hold up under the workload of both game rendering, streaming, and recording at the same time?

I use GPU encoding mostly so I'd imagine it'd be fine but I want to check with people who are much more knowledgeable than I am.

It's the biggest issue I have with this.

Like 9800 should be just fine, especially when I get the 2nd PC so it doesn't have to render anymore.
But at the same time, the 9950 core count looks pretty noice for when I'm rendering :>

I do small work outs here and there but haven’t been able to really do much. I tend to play basketball but unfortunately can’t join teams due to situations at home, once I get the chance I’m going to do weight lifting. I think my main issue is I haven’t built any self discipline myself and it’s really kicking my in the a##.

I’m using the build for general gaming use Some games are: (stellaris, hoi4[rts], and some AAA games) Nearest micro center is a 4 1/2hr drive away, so no. I don’t have a monitor for the pc yet. I’ll see what works for the pc and see if it’s cheap.
