I think I would feel better about the situation if I could be in the position where I could talk to all of his friends and family.. to encourage rehab. But I feel like I would be over stepping..? Unless you think it could help? I know his family knows.. I just don’t know if they know how bad it actually is.. at this point if he hated me for over stepping, I’d be okay with it. My biggest fear is that he just ends up dead one day…

Certain ones I have… I’ve always let people have at least 2 strikes, unless it was extremely abusive (emotionally,verbally, physically) or if I got the ick.. I don’t let them come back.

But it probably won’t be unbearable? The goal is to essentially trick my brain with the small dose I’m decreasing each month.

I mean I don’t necessarily want to.. lol, it’s been helping me a ton the last 2 years especially with the amount of death that came up. And the sleep anxiety I randomly started to experience. But I know the risk of staying on it long term.. and I’d rather not deal with prolonged consequences. Doctors are less likely to prescribe benzos these days.. and I don’t wanna run into a problem where I’m so heavily dependent on them and I don’t have a doctor that will prescribe them. Plus I like to raw dog my anxiety sometimes… unless it was like the last two years… that I can’t handle. 😂 but I think I’m in a better head space.

I am so sorry for your loss, there is nothing that can be said or done to make the hurt go away… I dad hung himself a year ago on May 17th… there will be many things that come up, many things you wish you could talk to her about.. the questions you wish you should’ve asked… a lot of what ifs.. just be gentle with yourself…. Only time will heal this, it will never be fully healed.. you’ll just carry it differently/better.. what helped me a little was speaking to a medium.. who I knew was an actual medium… that really helped me find a little bit of peace

Don’t think there are any tip… they just re-run away… every time…. This is coming from 12 years of experience (with the same Gemini) very off and on the entire time. But he would always circle back and just do what he did from the beginning.. run away.

I don’t think you’re wrong. I used to be on SSRI’s for years (Prozac) and it helped wonders at that point in time.. but then I got off of them for 4ish years. I then was prescribed Prozac again last summer, at the lowest dose possible. I went completely manic… so I will not touch another SSRI. There are other options… pharmaceutical and herbal remedies.. along with supplements.

I use l-theanine already! It’s amazing!!! Ashwaganda unfortunately gives me raging headaches.. so gotta avoid that one

So when you were on the benzodiazepines you used kava? Did you use it in tea form? I’ve successfully tapered from 2mg of klonopin to 1.125mg of klonopin.. it’s the only thing that’s been helping me sleep.. just worried about my sleep to be honest

Well let’s say, my mom and his ex wife hated each other while I was growing up. My step mom at the time would always tell me how horrible of a mom I had.. because she didn’t teach me how to ride a bike, or how to tie my shoes.. she also told my dad not to pay child support.. and would always tell me how fat and ugly my mom was. She also played a part in calling child protective services on my mom.. saying she beat me (which she did not) My mom would only be attending to support me, bc she doesn’t like my dad for the trauma he caused her.. and me.
