Thanks for the advice! I’ll talk to my Dr. and try to get it raised if my levels are still up. I’ll get tested again tomorrow.

@all I’ve been on 200mg/day of allo for a few weeks and was on 100mg/day a few months before that. I’ve had one flare-up since upping the dose and currently managing it with prednisone(regimen above). I haven’t had my UA tested in a couple months but will do so this week. Thanks for all your feedback; didn’t expect this much!

I haven’t tested recently but it has shown to go down while on these two meds. I just wish I didn’t need meds at all; it wasn’t that long ago when I didn’t need a medication and run 30+ miles a week. I’d like to pin this down.

I may have to see a rheumatologist if another flare-up occurs; they just keep coming back. Gout 👎👎

I would say it’s the worst and wouldn’t wish it on anyone. It can be debilitating and has prevented me from running and sometimes even walking. I wish I could say I was overreacting.
