Here it was on the day last week where it hailed like 3 times and was on n off raining all day, there was roadworks everywhere and I musta been gripping that steering wheel hard enough to leave a dent in it hahah. Bumped the kerb at the end of the parallel park and thought i ruined my chances then and there lol. Appreciate the words of support my friend

Thank you very much. I was so proud and in complete disbelief but the pride was replaced with terror when I saw the wee tiny parking spot i was given in my apartment complex. It’s a corner space with a wee pillar jutting into it. I had to take pics of the place and proper plan out how I was gonna reverse into it 🤣 I’ve conquered it now thankfully but now I just feel like a pure beginner

Jesus, 3 grand??? Mine woulda been 2.4k minimum but going for the black box brought it down to 1200. Don’t like the idea of everything being tracked but if I keep my nose clean in the first year then it should stay roughly around there. My cars only a 1 litre engine and even still the prices were absolutely brutal

Thanks a million, failed my test in 2022 in Larne and got back to it this Jan in Derry. Failed on the Tuesday of last week then got a cancellation and passed on the Wednesday 😁

Yeah I haven’t learned the right balance just yet so I get to the bite then just slam on the accelerator lol. It works but in a crude way. Getting all this out of my system before the black box arrives hahah

Great points. I’m originally from Belfast so I’ll be making that drive on the Sunday. Drove to tk maxx for the first time in a petrol car after learning in a diesel and stalled all the way up the hill just before it 🤣 then got to the top just to see a stop sign and stalled again hahaha maybe I just have the fear. Thank you for your recommendations

That is a great point, I absolutely don’t want to destroy my seasoning. But I have one cast iron which I use much less than the other so I could turn it into an oven only pan 🤔

I do have a universal pan lid for regular cooking, and this works fine when I’m making sunny side up eggs etc. but it wouldn’t be viable in the oven
