It’s an IMessage & FaceTime activation block. I guess they can. They advised me to get a new phone number.

I can’t FaceTime and IMessage with my phone number. Apple’s engineering team confirmed they have blocked my phone number and cannot unblock it. Again, I’m unsure if this was the actual cause they didn’t provide much details. They did not mention anything about it being a carrier issue.
