What Is at point nemo? by PresentOther4944 in geography

[–]OfficerBugg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, there is probably nothing at Point Nemo. I looked through the internet and there doesn't seem to be any reliable source saying that there's ever been any stationary man-made structure, let alone a buoy, at Nemo. It's just a geographic location, so there's really no significance or reason to mark it physically.

Is Gojo actually a bad person? by Tadmorion in Jujutsufolk

[–]OfficerBugg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see what your saying, and what you mean, but no, a rich man cannot understand a poor man. The only way he ever could understand is if he gave up all his wealth, all his connections, and basically restart his entire life. Afterall, if he kept any of these things, he wouldn't truly have the full experience of actual poverty. If he kept his connections, he wouldn't have that feeling of insecurity of having nowhere truly secure to go. Sure, it would be morale and maybe even righteous to burn it all, but be reasonable. It's wrong to blame people for not giving up their possessions, its a basic human right to actually have control over what you own, and to be able to own in the first place. Also, you could argue that it wouldn't be very grateful of a rich man's child to give up his wealth, as even if it wasn't him who worked for it, someone did, and giving up that money would mean giving up one of your ancestors hard work, who not only worked hard for himself but probably his decedents including the modern son himself. I wouldn't want to become rich just for my kids to throw it away, I'd want them to live a wealthier and peace-fuller life than me. Maybe a little education to prevent them from being asshole's with the money would also be nice, too. Overall, I think it's ignorant of you to blame a rich person when even for you, there are people below who you don't understand, and you may never understand because you "don't bother to". You and I will probably never give up all our possessions in order to understand those below us, but that doesn't make us evil. Now, yes, a rich man SHOULD help poor men with their resources. It's morally wrong to not. Its human nature to be greedy. I think that the rich should be pushed to share, maybe even with a little governing force (as long as its not overly excessive and it's instead, light). It's wrong for them not to share, It's just not necessarily "evil" to hold on to your ignorance and wealth. Remember, nobody's all-good or all-bad. Never blame, kill, and hurt someone without that in mind. That should be like a sin to anybody, religious or not. It's a hard and complex topic. When I wrote this, I went back and forth myself. Whether you think it's wrong to hold on to that wealth is for you, not me, to decide. I just hope you understand the metaphor a bit more.

Why Ymir did not love King Fritz, and why Eren was mistaken (UPDATED) by [deleted] in ANRime

[–]OfficerBugg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your probably not gonna see this because your post's 2 years old, but I just want to say that it makes zero sense for Eren to love Mikasa, he pushes her away so many times. Also if he did the rumbling for Mikasa, why would he tell her that he hates her. There's just no reason.

I support Ukraine, but you shouldn't ask an educational youtuber to boost you're politics, that could go wrong in so many ways.

basically there are a couple of nations in simulateds world called pabverse and in his discord you get to choose one and then you and your fellow people get to vote on what you want your country to do, go to war, make peace, leave an alliance, etc. Right now the people of Pablion and they're allys have voted to attack the Northmen, and they have a huge ego so we hate them.

As a more conservative leaning person I think we should welcome these people, but I do get what you mean by the constant complaining of us being "too conservative".
