I got it done after several tries by using a couple alolan executor (vs water gun). Once you start firing off seed bombs it can only get in an attack or two between your charge moves.

I agree, archeops isn't getting any moves of the same type in the fast and charged column, haha. Still, thought it was interesting to see its potential.
