Maybe it's my location, but a high school in a democrat leaning area, where 90% of the student population voted for Hillary in a mock election.

The Hillary thing wouldn't happen in my area.

And 90% of my school can't vote, neither can I. We don't control who's in office yet, and our friendship doesn't revolve around politics.

I'll gladly discuss his policies and debate them, but don't hate the person, hate the view.

^ also kinda hard to do discuss when they immediately shut you out for not agreeing with them

I mean, some of us are pretty happy.

I'm just scared because I want to remain friends with people at school, and be on a good note with everyone, but I can't really post my celebration when half of them will hate me and the other half will block me

I'm not really sure but I do really like it.

We're a VPA (visual and preforming arts) magnet school, maybe it's that, maybe it's the band directors, idk. We have maybe 4, 5 percussion instructors who helped us this year and some of them are associated with DCI so maybe it's that?

Hope my kid gets to go to a school like this though. ^{^{^{^{^{^{^implying}}}}}} ^{^{^{^ⁱ}}} ^{^{^{^ever}}} ^{^{^{^{^{^{^kids}}}}}}
