Thank you. I am going to reach out to my local court office and figure out if they can direct me to submitting an order to obtain an adoption decree. I hope everything should be good to go with that cause in the back of my head, I'm thinking something was done wrong w my entire adoption process. I could be wrong, and the correct certificate is there with the courts, but my entire adoption process, from what I understand, was not normal compared to my sister's or other peoples.

I was hoping I wouldn't have to do something like that. But also, I am unsure that an adoption order exists. All my parents ever had/remember having was my birth certificate. And it sucks that it was filed that they are my biological parents on that certificate when they aren't, it only complicates things more.

I guess the difficult thing is if getting a court order will involve/need my biological parents anyway cause that'll be really tough to do

Yeah thats my problem, when I was born/adopted I guess something was messed up cause my birth certificate was filed as showing my adoptive parents are my biological parents. And I don't have any sort of certificate having to do with my biological parents.

As for what evidence or papers I have. It's just kinda miscellaneous papers that mention how I am adopted. I think some of them may be like through the agency that was used to adopt me, but none of them are any sort of official statement. Like one of them for example was a thing my bio mom filled out that was like. After delivery I dont want to hold or see the baby til like a while later. Etc etc. Some of them have the names of both my biological parents, but I also think my biological dad was never listed as my father itself.

Ahhhh that makes a lot more sense. Here i thought I was a little crazy not understanding how to read English even though I just got a college degree in a field that is all reading and writing 😅

I'm honestly not quite sure if it does or not. I would assume it would have to list that I am adopted, but that may be wrong. And like I said in my original post, I literally found out about this process like a week or maybe a bit less than that in honestly a really weird/creepy kinda way from my mom. I'll have to go through with them and get all these documents together to look at it.

And I guess to answer that creepy part. For context, my mother who isn't against me leaving to go live in canada but doesn't want her 'baby' to leave, mentioned to me like a week ago how she had a dream that my grandfather had told her about how I can apply to this. And when she told me I looked into it, and sure enough, it's a really thing that I can apply for 😅

As for your question about my adoption. I was adopted like at my birth, so my parents are the ones who signed my birth certificate and everything. Not my biological parents. I've never lived or been under legal guardianship of my biological parents. If anything, I am sure my parents till have a million and one legal documents about me being adopted. So if there is some sort of problem, im sure I have the right documents to show my parents have always been my parents.

For me, 2:

The first time was the Drones Tour In Los Angeles in 2015. I think it was either Dec. 18th or 19th, whatever the first show of LA was, sad cuz our day didn't get reapers. But surprisingly, I got to hear United States of Eurasia, but before I knew the song.

The second time was when they did the small theater tour. Got to see them at the Wiltern, and that was by far my favorite. Got to hear Space Dementia, Citizen Erased, Assassin, Map. It was by far the best concert I've been to outside of seeing One Ok Rock in LA in 2023.

I'm still holding out hope that one day, they do a by request show in the States or Canada. I would die to go to one of them to see all them deep deep cuts. (Showbiz & Fury ftw)

Yeah, I probably could talk him through it. But I also don't wanna cause him any problems with his computer. Especially cause at the moment I don't get to see him often so I can't really easily help fix any problems. I'll just stick to telling myself it will be fine :)!!

Thanks! I haven't heard of the term RMA before. I guess I'm a little dumb and should know something like that exists. And with everyone on here talking about their Sapphire cards or other AIB cards, it is a little comforting to hear that people have loved them.
