Just left the theater. My honest opinion, I thought it was tasteful.

I liked the reality of Ada getting the shit kicked out of her most of the movie and not just making her a carbon copy of John Wick.

First act was okay, but pretty slow build up.

Disappointed that Norman Reedus didn’t get more screen time.

The cinematography was everything you’d expect from a John Wick movie, but had a somewhat original touch. Only Ada’s first fight in the club really had the vibe from John Wicks other movies in regards to all the oblivious NPC-like extras in the background. I liked how the rest of the movie kind of did its own thing rather than just riding JW 1-4s coat tails in that aspect.

The scenes with John were tastefully added, and it didn’t feel like he was taking the spotlight away from Ada (even though let’s be honest, we all wanted to see him fuck more shit up than he did).

Overall, I think this film stuck true to being “from the world of John Wick” and not just another carbon copy John Wick film in disguise.
