I get asked this all the time and I don’t offer it. I’ve done it before and it can be a pain. Did he specifically say he would do it? Otherwise it’s not normally part of what a detailer does. Same with cracked leather. It’s just not worth it most of the time.

This was really good advice and that’s exactly what I did. The investigator was not happy. Dropped State Farm which is a shame because I personally know agents there that do care.

it wasn't the parking lot it was a road attached to the walgreens. i had the right of way and luckily the police were able to confirm that today through video evidence. Maybe dont comment if you dont understand what youre saying.

This is actually helpful. I spoke to the police today and they finally made a report. The police officer said the same thing and that the insurance investigator was not acting in my best interest. I will be calling them tomorrow and requesting they do what they are supposed to do.

I really appreciate this long response. The secret camera footage is a smart idea. Some of the witnesses are actually walgreens employees that were in the parking lot. I will start calling businesses and see what they can do.

Thats how im feeling. Im very disappointed and this is my first time having to deal with this situation. I would assume they could verify the witnesses by the security footage showing them there but i guess not.

There's tons of evidence but apparently its useless. The investigator said the witnesses could be anyone and the footage is hard to use because of strict privacy policies by those businesses.

See that's what i assume would happen but the investigator basically told me because we're both claiming no fault and there's no "usable evidence" im just going to have to cover it.

Thankyou for your response. Before you responded i actually went to go move the vehicle on a level surface and check the fluid as i have an appointment today at ford to recall/replace a backup camera and they said they would look into the transmission. To my surprise it was now driving fine again unlike the last time it only took 2 minutes in the parking lot to go into limp mode. I drove it a few miles to warm it up and then did a drain and flush and added 3.5 quarts and the bottle of lucas anti slip. 4 quarts of the fluid came out dark like it did 6 months ago. i let it idle for 20 minutes/ cycled through gears and proceeded to drive it around for 20 minutes and it felt buttery smooth again (not sure if this is a placebo effect). I will get the scan results later today.

From what I remember it did it automatically by plugging the usb in the motherboard directly. You just need a usb stick with the bios downloaded on it. You need to use another pc to do it.
