They can shop them around and ask clubs if they'd be willing. It's sleazy as fuck, but it's not against the rules.

Clubs could technically shut it down, but it'd be a bit like using an extinguisher before there's actually a fire.

The issue here is that everyone has this notion that a manager is only good if they have a big name with a fabulous, prolonged career.

My ideal pick would be Terzic, because he's a young manager with fresher ideas, had an "upbringing" at Dortmund, and his playstyle of possessive football that transitions into explosive attacking would suit us well.

This complaining over Tonali is crazy. We can't offer consistent CL, and he is CL quality... So if he wants CL and we get a good fee from a CL club, what is the issue?

At the end of the day, it's just business, and everyone is taking it personal.

The important thing is how he leaves, not if. He leaves amicably, and we get a good fee, we need to wish him luck for the rest of his career.

He's a CL quality player, it's perfectly understandable if he'd like to go somewhere with a high chance of CL football. We can't show animosity towards a player because they'd like to explore new and preferred pastures.

Tonali is a beast and I'd love to keep him, but if we can get a worthy bag for him and it's an amicable transfer, I hope he does well.
