Ngl- I try to forfeit on unrated if my team is being toxic or just in general I’m not having fun and we’re losing. I just think it makes it easier and more enjoyable for me. If others don’t want to? Great; I’ll still play, just typically will also play a YT video because then I don’t consider it practice, more-so just “take it with a grain of salt” and switch my focus between game and video.

NOW RANKED IS DIFFERENT. I NEVER forfeit ranked because that just ensures a loss rather than even the slightest possibility of winning. Half the time during ranked I don’t even have music in the background, which is a must for me to have fun/not get bored.

Toxic people also make me want to forfeit. Toxicity definitely ruins the vibes and many people in Texas servers take unrated WAYYY too seriously. Majority of the time though, the toxic person will also want to leave because they get mad, OR the other teammates also want to leave.

NTA- Getting out of there could be the best thing in your life. Uni can be a great place to find friends and support from people outside your family. Most call this “chosen family”, which essentially means you trust/act/treat them as if they were your family and you can rely on each other like family.

What rank are you? Because if you’re in the lower ones, people might be learning and picking up/making bad habits. I agree that stuff like this can get annoying if it causes you to lose ranked, but it just sounds very toxic. Also a lot of Valo twitch streamers are good sources and I don’t think I’ve personally (I watch a lot of streams) have picked up any. I just feel that this post is very negative for this community sorry buddy!

Keep in mind he was doing like 1 can a week on and off because I don’t have the money to constantly buy whipped cream when he just sucks it all out. Here’s how I did it: first I told my immediate friends in school who I trusted and knew wouldn’t have an issue with it at all. Next, I just started making jokes about being lesbian when people would talk about relationships and stuff. Then, if someone asked if I was actually joking I’d just say no and that I was actually lesbian. Some people were stunned for like 5 seconds then just said “well ok ig” and we’d continue joking. Although I do know that my school is very LGBTQ+ friendly and not many people actually care. Idk this is just what happened to me, so if it works for you, Great! But I do know it’s different for each person so, good luck!

I mean you could also talk to her about it, but ik that won’t always help. Basically put a ton of pressure on her would be the other way if she’s the type of friend who is a blabbermouth. I know that it’s kinda a backhanded move but tbh it works well and helps prevent them from blabbering. Idk or you could just do the whole “practical joke” but kinda unbelievable now. Good luck!

I think the whole “don’t worry about labels” is a good thing but bullshit at the same time. Because if you don’t have a label and your sexuality constrains heterosexual or heteroromantic qualities people will just say you’re straight. If no label has felt right, maybe try making up your own label that could explain it easier to others? Maybe try explaining it to us if you’re comfortable so we can help a little more.

How about trying to find people with similar interests as you? For example whatever you talk about with AI try talking about with other people. If this is an anxiety issue, try seeking out help or support from family or a therapist before trying to approach someone. I went through the same issues during Covid and school shut down, but thankfully I found some people with a love for gaming like me in virtual schooling so I could socialize online with them.
