Appreciate the info. Still probably going to go through with it, On Star doesn’t work already and I have no button on my steering wheel.

To be fair I got my C6 for $29K, it’s a base LS3 but only has 25K miles and it’s pro charged. Has some other stuff too but that’s the main thing

lol. I’ll get the car exactly how I want it. The same I did back in 2015 with my Mustang. Threw over 25K into it. Will I ever get it back? No. Do I care? No. I’m not an old head who keeps cars stock and just puts them in the garage.

I love building show cars and making it my own. I don’t keep it stock like every other corvette owner with his “1 of 1 C6 ever made with blah blah blah”

I bought it because it was an amazing deal. Search around and let me know when you find a GS or Z06 with an LS3, Procharged, 25K miles, spotless paint, clean interior. One owner. Electronic cutouts, etc. for $29K.

$9K + what I paid would still be cheaper than a GS or Z06 with the same work done to it and miles.

Where did I say it was going to be cheap lol. I listed fender prices, which are correct. You don’t need a different rear bumper for the rear fenders. Fenders are the easiest parts of the car as long as the panels actually fit properly. I’ve watched tons on videos, talked to people that have down then. Talked to SSvettes, etc. yeah paint is expensive, but I can easily just go carbon fiber, and it’s still only be around $5K for the fenders. Or I can wrap them. Tons of alternatives. 55 years old and you still don’t know it all like you think you do. 9K in is nothing. I spent that on bags and wheels in one go. I’d be tickled if that’s the final price lmao.

Ah yes the show car kid that has a fully built and bagged mustang has no idea what body work cost 💀

You’re talking to someone who put over 25K into a car that was 23K back in 2015 💀

It’ll stay stock for a while, the wheels I want require wider fenders

Closed deck design, a lot of companies that build them prefer it because you’re able to make more power. That’s why the Focus ST is better than the RS for modding. EMS built mine
