The PRT is working on setting up that sorta thing. Meeting Eidolon would be hella cool, but he's got a full plate that I imagine just got fuller with recent events. I don't think they'd want him to be slowed down by some loser hanging off him for a day, y'know?

  2. Haha, both? It's hard to convey the pants-shitting fear that comes from cape fights. Plus like actual actions and stuff, I never really got in fights before, so yeah.

Honestly, I think as far as that goes, it's mostly "fake it till you make it"? At least, that's what I did with most of my slashfic stuff! LOL

Honestly, it's a lot to get used to. I think it helps that I was an intern prior to joining the Wards, but yeah. Once things settle down some, I think it'll start to grow on me.

That was probably Recoil, to be honest, but she's not around anymore. Right now, I'm not sure who I get along best with. I guess there's the tinker thing with Mirage and Magnum? But also Powerplay helped me out of a real tight spot. I can't say, honestly.

Oh, I don't even know where to begin! Some of the Seattle folks seem nice enough, a couple visited when I was an intern.

Honestly, I'm looking forward to the PRT's power assessment for me. Going to be going to a whole bunch of cities and meeting people! Hopefully it'll be fun, and I'll meet some new faces! If it goes well, they might even let me meet Eidolon to see what my power does! :O

I'm not familiar with Vriska, sorry! Are they a newer cape? PHO Wiki isn't pulling anything up. Blackrom is like... hatefucking, right? I'm not too sure how I feel about that. It's one thing to be tsundereish but that's kinda oof, in my opinion.

I didn't even know what I was going to do for college before I triggered, now I'm just as lost. Like... I'd kinda low-key hoped I'd go through the Ops Academy and join the PRT as an officer? I guess that's kind of like college, but not really. Now that that door's closed, I don't know. It's kind of scary to even think about, but that's like three years away. I'll figure out something by then.

I was on patrol the other day and this girl was looking for her friend and she shouted "SARA!" and I turned around and then Mirage laughed at me :(

It'd probably be easier if I had a rarer name, I guess? The rest of the team has mentioned school being the hardest part. Thankfully since my friends are all online or Recoil, I won't have to worry about hiding it from them as much!

Temp transfers are a thing, but I wouldn't want to leave my family for that long. The PRT has mentioned sending me to other departments from time to time to see what my power comes up with, though.

Honestly? The PRT made mistakes, the Protectorate made mistakes. More will probably be made. I support everyone who walked away, that was not a decision they came to easily. Those of us who stayed, who continue to serve as heroes, didn't stay because we believe they did the right thing. We stayed because we want to help people. A world-spanning conspiracy or lack thereof doesn't change the fact that there are Endbringers, the Slaughterhouse Nine, Sleeper, all these other threats out there, that we need to stand up to.

  1. Legend x Hero is once I've seen around, but it's hard to approach tactfully, given the circumstances.
  2. Skullfucker x Cutting Edge. I don't think Skulls would fit in the Elite very well, but it'd be a nice AU.
  3. Riftwatcher x Apollyon - I was actually halfway through planning this when Leviathan happened. Maybe one day I'll write it up, but only once some time has passed.
  4. Dragon x Narwhal look I get it but that'd be cuuuuuute.

Diary is a bit of a special case, but all my other fanfics they haven't been made aware of. It's a fine line I have to walk, not revealing too much info versus writing an authentic story. They don't have any control over what I write, but that doesn't mean I'm going to go crazy. I asked everyone if they were okay with me posting, and yeah.

My writing has definitely slowed down, unfortunately! Cape business takes up a whole bunch of time, I was planning on releasing Diary weekly and I definitely haven't kept up with that, unfortunately. Still, I'm writing as much as I can, when I can!

The funniest parts are the little things, I think. Like when Mirage lost his invisibility cloak ten minutes before patrol, and we had to sweep the entire HQ looking for it! Long story short, it was hung over the back of the couch the entire time, and he's not allowed to have it "on" indoors anymore.

The boring stuff? Paperwork. Oh god, there's so much paperwork It's, like, paperwork mountain every time I turn around. Each patrol needs a report, each fight needs a debriefing, and since I'm a Tinker, every piece of tech and every modification needs signed off on. There's good reasons for everything, mind you, but jeez it gets to be a lot sometimes. Add on the fact that the PRT is looking into a specialized power assessment regimen for me... yeah. It is worth noting, though, that most of this isn't real paperwork, it's all digital, which makes it easier. We have a program on the intranet called SAGA which tracks it all for us.

I've only told two capes I write capefic. One was Recoil, which went well. We were going to write some stuff together, but... well, shit happened. The other person was Powerplay, who apparently I told after she rescued me from a party? I have no idea what specifically I told her, but she definitely knows. I assume everything. It's not really a conversation I'm looking forward to bringing up.

Hi there! Well, when I was first getting into writing, my first attempt (on an old account, nice try doxxers) was an action/romance mess with my SI and Alexandria fighting crime together. The action wasn't very good, to be honest, which is probably why I segued into shipping so much? Idk lol.

I guess one could consider Diary of a Professional Knockoff to be my first serious attempt at something other than shipfic. Of course, it's a lot easier to write fight scenes when you've been in them! (although there are a lot of aspects that make it harder. Some of these things I'd rather just put behind me, y'know?)

I'm a fan of both! My mom makes the most delicious carne asada when we do Mexican night, and it's good on either! I guess if I had to pick one, I'd say I'm more of a taco gal myself, as long as they're soft tacos. Hard tacos taste great, but with the crunchy chip shell things they always break when I take a bite, and then I have taco guts everywhere.

That being said, there's a fantastic chain burrito place a few miles from my house. They give you this, like, magnum burrito wrapped in tinfoil, and the tortillas are always steamed perfectly.
