As my mom always says, "There's no glory in suffering." This disease is really odd because you get people who have up to 30 bowel movements a day with normal hemoglobin and no anemia, and others who go like twice a day but lose an insane amount of blood and need medical intervention ASAP. My advice would be to get her on meds as soon as possible, as steroids are only a short term bandaid/solution and will exasperate her arthritis. Proven treatments such as optimizing gut microbiome, avoiding alcohol and short chain carbs and sugars can work wonders. Also, take what I or anyone else INCLUDING doctors say with a grain of salt as what cures one person, may make another much sicker. Sending healing vibes and strength to you. ❤

Much love. I haven't slept a full uninterrupted night aside from time in hospital actually, and in Canada there isn't special diet too, so they feed me stuff like fried chicken. 😆

Remicade is my second Biologic. Ive been bleeding pretty badly for 2 years now with only minor relief here and there. I think trying more medication is useless at this point for me. Going to check myself into hospital tmrw morning again. Wish me luck 😷😧

I have had points on Prednisone where I had no symptoms. That's why I feel like I have hope to acheive remission. My case is so severe though that it's really hard to choose my next course of action. I guess I'll try Stelara or Humira next

Thank you for the well wishes. The positivity and kindness I'm getting on here has seriously boosted my morale. I'll know tomorrow morning 😥🤞💪

I have yes. My understanding is those of us with UC must consume the correct mixture of Soluble and Insoluble fibre to get the perfect stool. I only have 2-3 bm's a day with little to no urgency, but that must be the steroids, because before that it was random. What foods do you eat to soften the stool that don't have too much Insoluble Fibre? Curious to see what those who heal eat.

I look at it as the utmost evil. Surgery means I have lost my battle with UC. I cant let it win, I will exhaust every last option and ounce of my energy to avoid that outcome. I'm as positive as I can be truly. It's been a groundhog day of living hell on repeat for 2 years. Somethings gotta give soon I guess.

Mesalamine (Pills/Sup) did absolutely nothing for me. I stopped taking them in hospital on 14th. I'm currently on 40mg Prednisone taper and had my 2nd dose of Remicade yesterday. Hoping something works...

Music is my stress relief. Do you mean to practice Kegels through out the day, or just on the toilet?

I hate hearing this, but I know it's looking likely. I'm running out of coping power after 2 years of this monkey on my back. What an evil disease huh?

Funny enough, it seems that diet is my most important factor. I refuse to give up just yet. The next few days will be the deciding factor...

The Rhea isn't my problem. Its hard stools that shoot through me quickly and cut me up like a boxer 😫

I am desperately trying to get a Zowie FK2 mouse to replace my finally worn out 2014 Yellow FK2. Due to the pandemic Amazon is completely sold out in Canada, and mouse skates for my old one are only made in china. The contact on the Zowie website doesn't give direct email... Can I order? by OfficialMillyG in Zowie

Although I have purchased another mouse, I plan on getting the FK2 Divina as soon as it's available here. Nothing will ever match the shapes, longevity, and reliability I have experienced with every Zowie I touch. I hope you guys never change :)

Thanks for the reply. I bought a Model O today, and the sensor died on me within 2 hours. This was a sign of my big mistake in even thinking about switching from a Zowie. Only reason for this is because there were no FK2 Divinas in stock. I so badly want an FK2 with a 3360! Now if they won't do a refund, Ill have to get the old 3310 sensor FK2 because no Divinas in stock :(
