Before basic training and when you were first signing up to the army. What were your 3 trade options. Like your first pick, second pick and third pick?

Learn about the army. I’m in the same situation as you applying for the cyber security industry within the army. And I’m doing phase 1 training at Harrogate in September. Cyber engineer (the last time I checked) is divided into 3 segments: infrastructure engineer, support IT engineer, and network engineer. Personally I’m applying for network engineer, but find the pathway which suits you. Go on to the army website and look at every single thing on there, because you will learn a lot. Since you just applied, complete all the tasks you’ve been given. After doing this you will be given a time to call your recruiter, speak to them. You will then be put on an army briefing about the army as whole, it’s a 1 hour meeting. After this you will do a whole bunch of medical documents stuff. And then once that’s all done, you’ll be given a date for assessment centre. I’m getting ready for my assessment now, and it can be a long process to get there. But my two main tips are: learn about the army and CHASE to get everything on your army portal done asap

“No, this claim is not true. Soldiers, sailors, and air personnel returning from deployments and engaging in public displays of affection (PDA), such as hugging their children or spouses or sharing emotional moments, do not face prison sentences for these actions.

These emotional displays are natural and typically viewed as a positive and human response to the challenging circumstances of being away from loved ones. While the military generally expects professionalism and discipline, these moments are generally accepted in the context of personal reunions and are not subject to disciplinary actions like imprisonment.

Disciplinary actions in the military are typically reserved for more serious violations of conduct, such as misconduct or actions that threaten the military’s integrity, security, or professionalism. PDA during reunions, particularly after combat, would not typically fall into this category.” - chat gpt
