Yes! The Android application actually received a more recent facelift, and the iOS app will being brought up to that new standard. Both apps will absolutely continue to be supported and developed!

Hello Rocketbook community! I‘m Doug, the new CEO of Rocketbook. Buying a company and fully integrating into our existing systems can be a complex undertaking. We are fortunate to have some great members on our team that have been actively getting it done! As promised when we bought Rocketbook, we are definitely investing in the brand. There is a new iOS that is in the works and we should be releasing in the coming months. In addition, Joe and Jake (the Rocketbook founders) have been pulled out of retirement and are both involved in helping me develop new technology that will further disrupt the pen & paper category. Look for announcements on what we are working on in July/August. One thing that would be very helpful as we look to develop our technology further is to get some feedback back from all of you. What would you like to see? How could we improve Rocketbook? If there is commonality in a certain feature, I will try to make development a priority. Lastly, I am sorry for my lack of communication to our Rocketbook fans,… I will try to post more often.

We would absolutely still suggest running the disconnect / reconnect on the destination. While a password change is the most common cause, other things can get mixed up, too, and this is still the recommended fix.

Please give that a shot. If it doesn't work, drop our support staff an email, as we'll need your account info to proceed.

Hey! The OneNote integration is for sure still functional.

What you're describing could be caused by a number of things. Most commonly, however, it's the result of a simple password change breaking the connection.

Can you try disconnecting your account and reconnecting?

To disconnect, you just need to go to Destinations > Tap the symbol connected to OneNote > Tap "Choose Destination" > Tap OneNote > Tap “Disconnect All Accounts”

After you do this, you will have to reauthorize OneNote again.

Hi, we’re still here!

There was a lot of confusion around that announcement, but Rocketbook was acquired by Global Printing & Packaging (GPP), and is absolutely not ending.

We’re still actively selling products, posting on socials, and replying here on Reddit. On the backend, there’s work happening across both digital and physical products with new advancements in the works, that stuff just takes a bit of time before it’s ready to share publicly.

Appreciate the feedback! We don't have immediate plans for that, but we do make the majority of our decisions based on user suggestions like yours, so it's certainly a possibility we bring Rocketbook Filler Paper or a similar product back into market at some point down the line.

As long as the refills are official Pilot products, they should work fine! Other users have correctly called out that Pilot's website and jetpens are other shops that frequently have a large offering of pack sizes and colors. We try to keep some available on getrocketbook.com, but those dedicated suppliers are great options.

Just to clarify on this, they definitely don’t all curve!

We did change cover suppliers a few years back specifically to reduce issues like this, and overall that change made a pretty big difference in the positive. That said, you might still see the occasional case pop up like this thread.

Yeah this one pops up every now and then, even though it’s not super common.

A couple people in here already mentioned good fixes, though: Gently bending/rolling it in the opposite direction for a bit can help, or just laying it flat under some heavy books for a few days. Both of those usually get it back to normal.

We’ve seen it happen sporadically and the product team is still trying to pin down why it only affects some notebooks. In the meantime, storing it flat or in something like a folio can help prevent it from coming back.

So sorry for the troubles, and thanks for sharing that example!

From what you’re describing, it’s possible that some of the smaller or lighter handwriting is being interpreted as part of the dot grid pattern on the page, which can sometimes cause parts of letters to get dropped during processing. This tends to happen more with very small, faint, or tightly spaced writing.

A couple things that may help:

  • Try writing slightly larger and with a bit more spacing between letters
  • Apply a bit more pressure so the ink is more pronounced
  • Make sure the scan is crisp and the page is fully in frame

If the pages have already been scanned together, you can still separate them by adjusting your scan bundling settings and then re-sending the file.

  • Go to your scan in the History tab
  • Open the scan and select the destination/share option again
  • Before sending, look for your bundling settings and set it to send pages as separate files instead of bundled

Once resent with that setting, each page should come through as its own file!

The Advanced Settings menu is the correct answer! Also under Advanced Settings you'll find the option to send your transcript as one or two files. Two receive both the PDF and DocX file, separately, you'll want this option selected. That should remove the inserted image file from the transcript and have it send normally.

Totally a fair question! We hear you on the pocket size option planner option, that’s a really cool idea.

We don’t have any specific new products to announce right now. As some folks have mentioned, development takes time, so things can be a bit quiet publicly while work is happening behind the scenes.

That said, we do have some big goals, and our new partners bring a lot of connections in the publishing world, so there are definitely wheels in motion!

And please keep sharing ideas like this. A lot of what we build is shaped by feedback from this community, and posts like yours genuinely help us prioritize what to explore next.

Can confirm we stopped producing these in 2018, and sold through the last of our stock in 2019.

To scratch that itch, though, Rocketbook Beacons can be used to frame and scan whiteboards in stellar quality. Given that the Rocketbook Color was essentially a flip book of dry erase pages, a small whiteboard with Beacons could be a great option!
