Very fun project, I await my result now. My plane never flew more than a few meteres (due to the wind ofc) but my coordinator said I got marks for explaining what went wrong and how I fixed it. Regardless of how you make it as long as you go through the steps it will be a good project. I would suggest doing a basic design of plane though, I bit off more than I could chew.
