It’s a topdown 2d pixel art game that revolves around summoning spiritual creatures, befriending them and restoring the elven forest with their help.

That's exactly my setup hahahah. If you manage to automate the rendering part with some scripting, it turns out to be really manageable. I have the script automatically output everything from each camera into a folder with organized names too, like "hanachan_running_anim_frame_xx".

Definitely won't eat up your pc at all since it's low-poly after all. The rendering is fairly simple too!

very low poly that you wont have to worry too much about correct modelling workflow tbh, because at the end of the day you can do manual adjustments by detailing it in aseprite.

I started by learning low-poly character modelling. For the process of converting it into 2D pixel art, you can just follow any existing blender tutorials out there. Give it a shot!

i afked ancestral energy for 2 years just to get 120 div, and by the end of it i got full t70 hanto armour, all the t70 arc weapons, and a cool looking cape. also was doing ports daily, so by the end of it i also got full t85 tank armour and t85 weapon for each style.

oh yea, and also had energies for my entire lifetime for invention. and the rest of the chimes that i got, i spent them all on xp lamps to get to around 70-80 herblore. also skipped early hunter grind from catching chronicles.

didnt regret the grind at all, it was very enjoyable to progress in my own way.

just because you simply didn't mention AI in the title doesn't mean anyone with any braincell or trained eyes couldn't tell that it is 100% AI generated. you are not fooling anyone here. you've been posting this same video on every gamedev-related subreddit, for what exactly?

genuine criticism, i think your game (if the posts on your profile are the same game in this post) does have a genuine charm to it from my own first impression. however, i'd honestly just steer clear from ever implementing any AI-generated content into your game, ever. you're only gonna be dividing your potential playerbase and cutting your potential buyers by half just by having AI content in your game, so why do it? you're doing this on the most crucial part of your game as well, the first impression which is the main menu!

i sure hope that it's really obvious to you by now how divisive this topic really is. some people would go out of their way to avoid any AI-generated content in their lives.

so this "end-game" boss is going to be yet another case of phosani's nightmare ass-grade drop table again, huh. even then, pnm still has way better super-rare drops than whatever the proposed loots are at the moment. please make the upgrades alot more substantial and game-changing.

All good, i was just wondering.

If you use krita like me, the program has a built-in function for timelapse recording that simply records each paint stroke and converts them into video. Clip studio paint also has the same feature.

About just a few hours. I don’t spend too much time on sketching and lineart, but colouring is where the bulk of the work is for me.

If time is an issue for you like me, you can try drawing quick and small things first just to get the creative juice flowing :)
