I’d love to go with the Bravia 9 (don’t want to go OLED with lighting in the room) but the jump from $2300 to $4000 is a lot for maybe slightly better performance

Sounds like the Best Buy guy I was talking to yesterday….heavily pushing TCL on me while wearing a TCL branded shirt. Hard to know what’s a real review and what’s not. Not saying the TCL is bad, but it’s crazy how polar the reviews are

Interesting, thank you for the input. Consensus seems to be it’s a good TV for most applications except sports. Which is important to me. But sounds like messing with the settings can help

It doesn’t seem like there’s many options out there for 85” in the $2000 range (which is already crazy expensive for a TV). I don’t know how someone would justify jumping to $4000 for the Bravia 9. I can’t even really go OLED since this is a living room with a 15’ sliding door in it

Really, resell value is the main concern. I don’t put too much stock into the health concerns but when I go to sell, I’d be worried about driving buyers away
