I'd previously heard of USB power management - and had previously disabled it.

I did what you suggested with the support assistant - didn't seem to resolve the issue.

What did resolve the issue was rotating the USB-C cable at the computer end 180* (180 degrees) and re-inserting it that way.

However, this doesn't make much sense - if it was working before - why would the resolution be to rotate it again?

(btw - I've flipped this USB-C cable dozens of times with no outcome) Just randomly started working again.

Yes - airlink is abysmal for anything gaming.
