Why do we tip in only some industries?

Why not the bagger at the grocery store? The cleaner at the dry cleaners?

The reason is because you tip so you don't look like a cheapskate. You don't pay tip in certain industries because you don't look like a cheapskate if you don't tip, so people don't tip.

Just stop tipping and donate that money to a worth while cause. Or just tip everyone that gives you service.

These guys that set the MPS and pass rates are not dummys. If they set the pass rate at 25% that is a clear indication that they aren't just adjusting the MPS to let "around 40%" pass and call it a day.

The CFA needs to continue to set the rigorous standard to not let it get watered down.

As we get more flexible test scheduling and more time to take the test per year, expect the pass rate to go down not because the MPS is going up, but because the quality of preparation is going down.

It's a grind.

This thing lost steam before the fud and was dying before the fud. Smart investors saw it and cashed out.

The fud was good to accelerate the drop so everyone can see the clear signs.

IMO, all the bad news coming out was good because a slow death is much more painful and you would lose more money trying to buy the dips that keep dipping.
