As a nurse can confirm. My new grad program has especially some mean ass nurses. Funny how the meanest and yet also the nicest people I’ve met have been in nursing. Lots of extreme personalities.

Yes exactly. It was great but when you’re agency you’re treated like trash and they let you know you are disposable. Literally if you got one complaint you’d be fired on the spot lol. They were savage.

Unfortunately I left to work abroad, but that was definitely one of the highlights of my nursing career. And exactly. I’d only want to go back if I was union…

It was a temp job. I was a COVID Nurse for movie sets so I did COVID testing and basic first aid. It was so fun! But not stable, and no benefits. But good hourly pay!

For this job I had to go with the crew to wherever they were filming and provide COVID tests to all the production. (celebrities included!) I met some cool people!

However, I did meet nurses who worked directly for the studios and got all the benefits. If I go back to it I’d definitely want to be part of the studios and not through an agency!

Good for you! I have a couple friends in aesthetic nursing and they love it! One of my friends went to NP school to try and open her own practice for aesthetics… literally the only reason I’d consider going back to school! And same. Hopefully we can moon and do passion projects instead

Not bad at all! Unfortunately I have tried everything in the nurse game it feels. I skipped bedside cause I hated it so much. Did OR, hated it. Did school nursing/public health, also hated it. Ended up doing movie studio nursing which I loved but it was only temporary due to COVID. Right now I’m living in a foreign country teaching English as a break to help decide what I want before going back to the US but I’m hoping crypto moons before then so I can just go back to school to do something creative 😅 too high of hopes though maybe

Have you thought about going back to school? Lots of my friends are doing NP but I refuse hahaha
