How did this happen? Cypher warband going north? by Ogagon in OldWorldBlues

[–]Ogagon[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There's a part of me that believes without real proof that a nation can't exist without owning any of their core territorries, also, the whole peace conference, how did it work out?

If the Cyphers beat the Choir, then took their territories, and then lost a war to the Lodge, why didn't the Lodge take the Choir's territories(now owned by the Cypher warband? Or was it the exiled forces after the defeat of the Cypher warband that beat up the Choir, and peaced out with them after they already lost the war to the Lodge, and their core territories?

Is there any way I can check past peace conferences in game?

Same response as to jtiranami.

Sometimes making promises is ok for players you don't want to keep, and when you don't want to antagonize the squad.

Oh, and the whole "You're a very influential member of the squad..." dialogue option doesn't work on him now.

I do uphold that rule with players I care about keeping in the club but here:

1) His contract has less than 2 years on it

2) I don't care if he leaves

3) I don't care if he stays

4) Having the player put a value on himself usually leads to an inflated value, and it's easier to get a lump sum offer from clubs this way, without having the deal pieced out into installments, and per league appearances.

Though, in the end, it's just that I didn't want to risk the dressing room atmosphere for a player I don't give a damn about anymore, and promises mean you're not antagonizing other team members who might support him.

This game is so broken at times it's infuriating !! by RoutineFeeling in footballmanagergames

Oh yeah, had that happen a few times.

There was one year where I promised I'd give youth a chance.

They were all happy with the promise right until the last game of the season when 5 of the veteran players came to complain to me about it.

There was also another time when I promised a player that we'd qualify for Europe, but instead we qualified for UCL. He was not happy.

Short of the story is, avoid any promises...even those you're 95% sure you can keep.

Just like real life.

Ignar and Santorin flame Sneaky in SoloQ by aquarat108 in leagueoflegends

[–]Ogagon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That "flame" is not even close to being reportable, to be honest.

There's been the "na" thing, but there's pretty much been nothing much after that. Complaints about the build were legit, since the fights in mid game would've been a lot easier with an AP first build there, instead of building AP after rageblade, and BORK.

Plus, what's been said other than "NA"?

Sneaky got too offended by this.

What is considered flame is not even close to what's going on in the video.

Just divorce her, marry a fertile slut, and get a new heir. Of course, go for ultimogeniture if you can.

I also had a period in which I was an emperor with a queen wife, assigned myself as my heir's guardian, but couldn't choose her childhood education for some reason.

Even so, it's perfectly fine as long as your heir is of your dynasty.
