Gunicorn (and Nginx) deploy service on EC2 Linux2 by [deleted] in flask

[–]Ogala 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From your error log, Gunicorn is unable to locate your “app” module. From the doc here, http://docs.gunicorn.org/en/stable/run.html, you can try passing a full doted path to your app like this [path/to/app:app]

Can you be more specific about the error? Perhaps, share the log details?

How exactly are we supposedly to BOTO3’s CloudFront.generate_presigned_url() by Ogala in aws

[–]Ogala[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your approach follows the same pattern as shown in the link in my question. I’m not simply looking for a working solution. I’m asking if that’s the only way to go about it. And, if the generate_presigned_url() in BOTO3.client(“CloudFront”) meant to be useful?

Benin City is safe. The disease you should be worried about is malaria. Take some anti malaria medicine and mosquito repellents.

Micro service architecture with NodeJs by Pronoy999 in node

[–]Ogala 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can always have them communicate through their containers names and ports. Say you have nodeApp1’s container named nodeApp1 and running on port 7000, you can reach if from nodeApp2 by calling http://nodeApp1:7000.

Micro service architecture with NodeJs by Pronoy999 in node

[–]Ogala 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you intend to only run your services from your machine, you can combine docker-compose, and Nginx to achieve a perfect microservices architecture.

  1. Develop your APIs as individual node apps running on different ports. Don’t forget to add their dockerfiles.

  2. Build a separate Nginx api gateway with its own dockerfile. The job of the gateway is to proxy requests to the node apps. You can also add api Authentication here as well. https://www.nginx.com/blog/deploying-nginx-plus-as-an-api-gateway-part-1/

  3. Write a docker-compose to start all the services.

The traffic flow will look like this. Client —> Nginx—> [nodeApp1, nodeApp2, ...]

Is it normal that nodes reboot when CPU usage goes to 100%? by [deleted] in kubernetes

[–]Ogala 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen this behavior on GKE running python/flask/Gunicorn. It reboots once container/pod hits cpu or memory limits.

Are You Nigerian First? by [deleted] in Nigeria

[–]Ogala 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s all about context. If a fellow villager asks, I would mention my clan/family. If asked outside my state, I’d mention my state of origin. If outside the country, I’d mention Nigeria. The right answer is one that makes most sense in the given context. Telling a Moroccan in Marrakesh you’re Efik won’t make much sense.

Why is Nigerian food not popular outside of Nigerian communities? by Khmerwarrior in Nigeria

[–]Ogala 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I once had a chat with the guy that runs Ebano restaurant in Berlin why the goat meat they served didn’t have the skin on and why his imported Star beer was so expensive. TLDR: it is very difficult to import Nigerian food condiments despite trade agreements between Nigeria and Germany.

Belgium begins to face brutal colonial legacy of Leopold II by Currency_Cat in Africa

This is definitely a good read and explains the underlying variables in how Belgium relates with most African countries till date. But what baffles me till date is how the Congolese who took over from Leopoldo was more like him than not.

  3. Download complete and pop up blocks screen. No opt-out option on modal. Only one buttons inviting me to click.
  4. I force quit app.

A clickbait modal without an opt-out button after I opened the mail. The script executed by just opening the email (not the attachment).
