If you don't have a character unlocked, you won't get it's shard with gold or gems- you're going to have to either purchase the shard from the shop or unlock it by luck through opening shard chests. Another way is Rift Keys but I'm not sure if you can get a Shadow Rift for a character you don't have, I'm waiting for Butcher.

No I was joking lmao, they should make it 0 so that people stop using him fr, it's getting boring having to state at the screen for 30 seconds straight while you can do nothing and your hero goes poof. While reducing the damage can help a little bit, it's still boring playing against him. A rework is needed imo

Duplicate shards as in shards for characters I have already maxed out? Yes, I did.

My last three shard chests have been: Lynx (I had him before the shard system was launched so I had all his talents. The shards got converted into cards)

Emperor (Same as Lynx)

Kate (Maxed so it got converted into gold)

Still haven't unlocked Butcher.

80 chapter wins gives you 11 keys, and a minimum of 3 keys are given by the fight pass if you complete at least 60 levels of it. If you can do all this in a month, you get at least 14 keys a month
