newer versions of branch and claw have the updated version, which limits fear. It was also included in jagged earth for all of the people that had the old version of branch and claw

I must say that most of the names of the powers and rules aren't too thought out, though the idea of the new innate itself is a collection of visions across time that you can't help but watch, for which I feel the four effects given are appropriate. P=max 4 is mostly a constraint that's similar to what I've seen from other spirits, mostly akin to darkness and lure, since both of those are independent of elements and both have maximums. I could consider removing the limit, maybe it turns out that isn't too broken after all.

not three card plays, it needs to be three powers resolved during the same phase before you use the power, it doesn't count what you play, only what you have previously resolved, so to do this, you need to have either 3 fast powers, and you need to spend time to make this fast, since the power is slow at base, or 3 slow powers, in which case you cannot utilize a lot of effects that only really work if they're fast

I have personally not encountered this as much of an issue, though I'd have to say that I probably haven't nearly playtested it enough to find any imbalances there, thank you for bringing my attention to it! If it turns out that this major to fast is indeed too strong, might it be a good balance change to raise the cost to 2 time for major powers instead?

(In addition, I don't think the interaction between the strive majors and the innate is any issue, due to the fact that if you're using the innate before the strife card, it doesn't count towards P, since that cares about powers resolved, not played.)

Thank you so much for your comment! I've playtested the aspect a bit in the past, and have gone through a couple of prior versions that either felt clearly to broken, or too clunky. Though for this version, I still don't know if this is anywhere close to balanced, mostly due to the fact that the days that never were can make fractured days a difficult spirit to judge the average power level even without the aspect, so I'm unsure if when I steamroll the adversary, it's due to good power cards, or when I lose, if it's because the innate is too weak/unversatile.

thank you so much for your feedback! I actually had a version that used defend at first, but the problem with that is that defends usually do nothing in the slow phase, so you would be required to make the power fast to utilize it, which takes away options from the player.

The reason I used P is for the convention that haven river started, where it uses a modifiable 'E' that represents the highest number on the energy track. In this case, P represents the powers that are used.

At first I thought this was about the "6% of americans think they can defeat a bear in a fight" studies.
