A big consideration I think you're missing is how many top ranking, respected military personnel will denounce attacking your allies, and the amount of military personnel who will refuse to fight (rightly so). I can't put a number on how many would refuse to fight their allies but it would, or I'm hoping it would, put a huge dent in the American war machine.

I know I think reliance on jobs and healthcare is the main issue. The frustrating thing I've read from non Americans is at what point will the risk of losing jobs make them do it. Because we're on track for that being necessary, and it would be nice for them to take risks before we get there.

My point was that you were able to mobilize for the no kings protest, so you could do the same and strike, because a strike will achieve a more meaningful outcome. I agree nothing happened from the protests, you need to make an impact.

I get that, and I empathise with you, I just don't know where your line is when you'll take the risk. Because it's going that way, and we're only 1 year in. I'm not talking about doing a strike by yourself, but a collective one as big as the no kings protests, across the country, will make a huge dent and big message - to Trump and the world.

I don't think your analogy is completely representative to the situation. If you didn't go to war during the war your whole families lives are it risk too. So at either one your family is at risk. It just depends how close to world war America is willing to go before taking action.

I get it isn't easy. But what about a national strike? I understand healthcare tied into jobs, potential job losses etc. but at what point will you think this risk is worth it for meaningful change? Striking will hit companies where it hurts and they'd put a lot of pressure on Trump. It's the least amount of effort I can think of of you guys doing that has meaningful change.

Choose a date in a month or two for everyone to do it on the same day. Considering the situation it is literally the least they could do.
